An out-of-state applicant with completed full preparation, a regular source license—or verification that only required testing remains—and no past or pending discipline may be eligible for full reciprocity.
Standard-license experience
Iowa's Standard Teaching License requires two full years of successful Iowa public-school teaching or three full years in accredited nonpublic, out-of-state or combined qualifying settings.
