Information we collect

We collect account and purchase information, structured professional credential facts, destination choices, case progress, support communications and ordinary technical or analytics data. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by TeachPassport.

Data minimization

TeachPassport v1 is designed not to collect Social Security numbers, fingerprint images, background reports, portal passwords, full identity documents or official transcripts. When an agency requires sensitive material, the live case directs you to the agency or approved provider.

How information is used

We use information to provision lifetime access, personalize and maintain license cases, authenticate customers, send case or rule-change notices, provide support, prevent fraud and improve the service.

Service providers

We may use vendors for hosting, authentication, database services, payments, email delivery and privacy-conscious analytics. They receive only the information needed to perform those functions.

Sale and advertising

We do not sell personal information or use private license-case data for behavioral advertising. Public, aggregated product metrics do not identify an individual teacher.

Retention and deletion

Account and case records are retained to provide lifetime access and preserve case history. You may request deletion, subject to records we must retain for payments, security, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Deletion ends access to the associated case history.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, restricted service credentials and data minimization. No online service can promise absolute security. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
