Terms of service

The service
TeachPassport provides a maintained, informational workspace for U.S. teacher-license mobility. It may organize customer-supplied facts, identify potentially applicable pathways, present official sources, track administrative steps and recalculate a case when supported rules or profile facts change.
Lifetime Access
“Lifetime Access” means that the original purchaser may use the supported TeachPassport product for current and future state moves without another TeachPassport product fee for as long as TeachPassport or a successor operates the service. It is non-transferable and does not mean unlimited human labor, permanent operation of any particular feature, legal representation or payment of third-party fees.
We may improve, replace or discontinue features while preserving the core value of access to a maintained license-mobility case. If the paid service is later offered free, existing purchasers retain their account, case history and any paid-only capabilities that remain available.
Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, protect access to your email account, check agency communications and personally complete steps that require identity verification, attestation, payment, testing, fingerprinting or portal access. Do not upload Social Security numbers, passwords, fingerprint records, background reports or other information the product does not expressly request.
No agency outcome guarantee
State agencies retain exclusive authority over credential comparisons and issuance. TeachPassport does not guarantee that an agency will issue a credential, meet a processing estimate, waive a test or accept a particular document.
Unsupported matters
The standard product does not include disciplinary proceedings, criminal-history analysis, administrative appeals, foreign credential evaluation, legal advice, agency advocacy or bespoke concierge work. The product may hold or decline a case when material facts fall outside supported rules.
Fees and refunds
The $49 product charge is separate from government, testing, transcript, fingerprinting and other third-party fees. Because access is delivered digitally, sales are final after fulfillment except for duplicate charges, failure to deliver purchased access, a material product failure we cannot correct, or where a refund is required by law. Contact hello@teachpassport.com so we can investigate.
Acceptable use
You may use TeachPassport for your own professional licensing decisions. You may not scrape, republish, resell or use the service to build a competing regulatory dataset, bypass access controls or interfere with the service.
Changes
We may update these terms prospectively. Material changes will be identified in the service or sent to the account email when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
