Public tools and saved work
TeachPassport provides free official lookup links, reviewed public guidance and initial personalized checks. Existing free move plans and access already granted remain available under the terms shown when they were created. An account is personal and lets you save and reopen work covered by the tool.
TeachPassport for Schools
Schools that keep a certification register pay $49 a month or $490 a year per organization, with a 14-day free trial and no card required to start. The TeachPassport for Schools terms and Data Processing Addendum govern that service.
Your part
You must provide accurate information, protect your email and state accounts and personally complete steps that require identity verification, attestation, payment, testing, fingerprinting or portal access. Do not send Social Security numbers, passwords, fingerprint records, background reports or other information we do not expressly request.
No agency outcome guarantee
State agencies retain exclusive authority over credential comparisons and issuance. TeachPassport does not guarantee that an agency will issue a credential, meet a processing estimate, waive a test or accept a particular document.
What we cannot handle
TeachPassport does not provide individual legal review, criminal-history or disciplinary analysis, administrative appeals, foreign credential evaluation, legal advice or representation before an agency. We may pause or decline work when important facts fall outside the certification paths we currently cover.
Outside fees
The annual TeachPassport price does not include charges collected by government agencies, testing companies, schools, transcript providers, fingerprint vendors, outside course providers or other organizations. Those charges are between you and the organization that collects them.
Acceptable use
You may use TeachPassport for your own professional licensing decisions. You may not scrape, republish, resell or use the service to build a competing regulatory dataset, bypass access controls or interfere with the service.
Changes
We may update these terms prospectively. Material changes will be identified in the service or sent through required account communication. Promotional announcements remain a separate choice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
