Three-of-five reciprocity rule
Nevada may issue a corresponding license when the applicant holds a qualifying full source credential and satisfactorily taught in a similar assignment for at least three of the five years immediately before application.
Testing controls provisional status
A qualifying reciprocity applicant who has not satisfied Nevada's competency-testing rule may receive only a nonrenewable provisional license; National Board holders have a separate testing exemption.

California to Nevada questions
Does a California teaching license automatically transfer to Nevada?
No. Your California credential is evidence for the application, but Nevada Department of Education decides which Nevada license, endorsements, tests and remaining conditions apply.
Can I use the Interstate Teacher Mobility Compact from California to Nevada?
