How to find the right Oregon record

Record timing
TSPC processes applications in the order received and posts the current processing dates on its homepage. If your status is Awaiting Applicant Response, read the message, add the requested item and reply to that message so the evaluator knows it is ready.
No result does not mean no license

Issued certificate vs. pending application
The public search is for active, valid licenses. Applicants should use their private eLicensing account, where TSPC shows statuses such as Awaiting Evaluation, Evaluation in Progress or Awaiting Applicant Response and posts requests in the Messages tab.

Oregon lookup questions
Is this the official Oregon teacher certification lookup?
The search button opens the system maintained by the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission. TeachPassport explains the process but does not copy, alter or certify the agency's record.
What can the Oregon lookup tell me?

The agency controls which fields and historical records are public.
Why can't I find a teaching certificate from Oregon?

Can I use the public lookup to check a pending application?

Does a certificate from Oregon automatically transfer to another state?
No. The destination agency decides which credential, endorsements, tests and remaining conditions apply. An issued source license is evidence for that application, not an automatic transfer.
Does TeachPassport collect the information I search?
The public search runs on Oregon's eLicensing site. TeachPassport does not receive the name, TSPC Account Number or license record. Account credentials, documents and application messages stay in your private eLicensing account.
