- 03Open the certificate result to see current credentials and any certificate history available.
What this public record includes
Texas Education Agency
- 01
Current, expired and inactive Texas certificates
- 02
Certificate history when TEA has history attached to the record
- 03
An official-record date that should show the present date
Record timing
TEA says the official record date at the bottom of a virtual certificate should show the current date. Refresh or clear browser data if an older record date appears.
If the result is still missing
Use the right next record
- Check the spelling and try the educator's full legal or former name.
- If you are the educator, sign in to TEAL and open your ECOS certification account.
- For a pending out-of-state application, check View Certificates and Application/Fee Status in ECOS.
Pending application
A pending file may not belong in the public lookup
The public lookup is the issued-certificate record. A pending application belongs in the educator's private TEAL/ECOS account, where TEA shows application and fee status.
