Full-certificate alignment
Rhode Island's reciprocity route accepts a valid current full source certificate only when its content and grade span align to a Rhode Island certificate area.
One-year test bridge
An otherwise reciprocal applicant who has not met Rhode Island testing may receive a nonrenewable Temporary Initial certificate for no more than one year.
Core evidence
RIDE requires an official source certificate, official degree transcripts or approved-program verification and official score reports for the comparable certificate area.
