Two qualifying entry points
The out-of-state packet is available with a current valid certificate based on full approved preparation in a NASDTEC jurisdiction, or with a CAEP or AAQEP institutional recommendation issued for a program completed within the last two calendar years.
Testing without a current credential
An applicant using an institutional recommendation instead of a current out-of-state certificate must include documentation of the content testing required by the preparation institution.
Core evidence
Idaho requires the application, current certificate or qualifying recommendation, official transcripts verifying at least a bachelor's degree and endorsement areas, and a Background Investigation Check packet.
Published certification fee
The Idaho page lists a nonrefundable $75 certification application fee, separate from the Background Investigation Check processing fee; confirm both amounts when filing.
