Does an Oregon teaching license automatically transfer to Washington?
No. Your Oregon credential is evidence for the application, but Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction decides which Washington license, endorsements, tests and remaining conditions apply.
Can I use the Interstate Teacher Mobility Compact from Oregon to Washington?
Both states are currently listed as compact members. You still need to meet the compact's license and eligibility rules and apply through Washington; membership does not make the move automatic.
