The application uses institutional recommendation, official transcripts, source license, applicable test scores, U.S. and Wyoming Constitution evidence, fingerprints and the required fee.
Which application this evidence supports
Wyoming recognizes an out-of-state license when its preparation, supervised teaching and testing standards are equivalent, with a separate experience rule for alternative-route credentials.
What can change this answer
Traditional preparation must be accredited and include supervised student teaching and source-state testing; an alternative-route license requires three of the last six years of full-time teaching while fully licensed in the same endorsement area.
Conditions to resolve before sending records

- •Traditional applicants need accredited preparation and supervised student teaching
- •PTSB accepts a test that was required for the source license or program-state eligibility
- •Alternative-route applicants need three of the last six years in an accredited school while fully licensed in the matching area
