Record timing
MDE posts a live Now processing week on its licensure page. An application may remain incomplete if supporting documents are missing, so read any requirements message in My MECCA before estimating the remaining wait.
If the search comes up empty
Check these before you stop
- •Check the spelling and try the name used in the educator's MECCA record.
- •Use the Educator ID when available to avoid relying on a name match.
- •If you are the educator, sign in to My MECCA to review your license activity or application.
Issued certificate vs. pending application
Mississippi uses My MECCA for applications and licensure management. The public search shows license records; use your private account for an application still in review. MDE's licensure page also posts the week of pending-review applications currently being processed.
