Record timing

Use the Details view for the current expiration date. PELSB notes that some PDF licenses were not updated when licenses in effect during the 2018 tiered-licensure transition received an automatic one-year extension.

  • •Search by the six- or seven-digit file folder number when you have it.
  • •Remember that receiving a file folder number does not by itself mean PELSB approved or issued a license; open Details to read the status.

Issued certificate vs. pending application

Yes. Minnesota's detailed lookup can show application type, the date it was registered, its status and the date of action. A submitted application is not a guarantee that PELSB will issue the license.
