Who this is for
Who this page is for
An educator who has already started or submitted a Ohio teacher-certification application and can access the agency's applicant process.
What this page can tell you
Ohio's public Educator Profile shows credential records. An educator's application and credential work belongs in the private CORE system reached through OH|ID, including the My Credentials page.
Check the file without losing the next step
Your turn
- 01Sign in through the agency's official page rather than a link in an unexpected message.
- 02Open the application or transaction you submitted and read the exact status shown by the agency.
- 03Check for a missing-item, fee, transcript or other document notice before relying on the status label alone.
- 04Keep the submission date, latest agency update and any non-sensitive request you need to answer.
If the portal has no useful update
Stop before guessing
- Confirm that the application was submitted rather than left as a draft and that the required fee was accepted.
- Check whether transcripts, test scores, experience forms or other records must arrive from a third party.
- Use the agency's published contact route when the file is beyond its stated window or the portal asks for something you cannot identify.
Only Ohio Department of Education and Workforce can decide whether the file is complete or issue the credential. TeachPassport cannot expedite the review or interpret silence as approval or denial.
