Experienced-teacher bridge
Massachusetts law permits a one-year Temporary License for an applicant with a bachelor's degree, a valid out-of-state educator credential and at least three years employed under that credential who has not yet satisfied Massachusetts testing.
Tests still matter
The Temporary License is a bridge rather than a testing waiver; service counts toward professional status only if the educator passes the applicable Massachusetts licensure tests.
