Testing and assessment treatment
Requirement
North Dakota can honor tests from a transcripted traditional preparation route, while an alternative-certification completer must satisfy North Dakota Praxis I and Praxis II requirements before OSEL issuance.
Which out-of-state path this covers
North Dakota offers an Other State Educator License to a valid source-license holder who completed accredited preparation with student teaching, and a separate time-limited reciprocal route when no source license is held.
What can change this answer
A valid current source license plus an accredited transcripted program with student teaching supports the OSEL and recognition of the source program and tests; without a valid source license, the two-year Out-of-State Reciprocal License allows up to three additional renewal years to meet North Dakota standards.
Documents you may need
NDTeach review uses the valid source license, source-agency confirmation, official transcripts, standardized score reports, mandated-reporter training and a successful background check.
